Chocolate was one of the foods I wasn't willing to give up. Dark chocolate has a higher percentage of cocoa than milk chocolate - this usually means more fiber and less sugar.
Fortunately there are a lot of DC options out there. One of my favorites is the 85% Cocoa EXCELLENCE Bar by Lindt. The only drawback is it's pretty bitter if you're not used to eating something darker than around 72%. I recently came across their 78% bar. After eating the 85% bar for years, this one has just enough sweetness to be a treat for me.
If you're thinking about adding dark chocolate to your list of staples, I'd work my way up in this order: 60%, 72%, 78% then 85%
