Describe your weight loss journey.: I first began this journey after the emergency, life-threatening birth of my daughter in 2016. I knew I had to make permanent changes to save my life and so I had to learn actual skills and healthy habits that would improve my life for the rest of my life.

What’s a skill you developed as a result of working through your weight loss process?: Something that amazes people is that I keep many snacks like cookies or candy and, instead of obsessing over them like I used to, I can now just eat what I want and close the container and forget them.

What has that skill led to outside of weight loss?: I have a much better relationship with food. I prioritize healthy foods but always enjoy things I love!

What advice would you give to someone working through their weight loss journey?: Resist the temptation to change everything all at once. Start with the absolute smallest steps that you can do forever and build from there.

What's something most people don't know about you that has nothing to do with weight loss?: I’m a huge KPop fan!
